An Interview With Young Authoress "Ashiya Ansari"

Let us know about this young writer?
I hail from Sonipat, Haryana and a school dropout by choice. Quiet introversion and introspection in solitude gave me a flair for the words to pen down my silence. I am a deep thinker, conscientious and sensitive minded person. "The Misty Solitude" is my debut book which I penned down at the age of 19. I am a writer by luck, a poet by heart and a translator on demand. I translate Urdu/Hindi Ghazal and Poetry into English language. My debut translated work is going to get published in a book, this December. I am short spoken and believe that I can better elucidate myself through writing rather than speaking. I don't write to entertain the people but to acquaint them with the stories of seclusion. I am looking forward to make a mark and establish myself in the literary world.

Please tell something about your “The Misty Solitude”.

One can easily infer from the title of the book that how deeply it deals with the concept of silence."The Misty Solitude" is a literature fiction which comprises of a number of volumes of verse and prose including short stories, novellas and poetry. The reflective thoughts written in many a night are the result of my spontaneous thoughts, my musing, my wonder and awe of the sights around me. “Myself” has been recreated on the paper. The book's theme is such that it keeps all the contents interconnected till the very end. This book is written in dark hazy nights of winters encompassing the portrayal of unspoken words of a silent girl who takes her soul towards solitude. Unspoken words often become the solemn secrets and silence is the shield of them. Author has broken down that shield to acquaint the readers with the stories of seclusion.

How you collect thoughts to pen down? What inspires you?
"I don't sit with my pen to extrude the thoughts,
Heart itself exudes them, I just sit to enclose."
It's in these frames of my mind that I have produced my deepest thoughts and emotions within, night after night, page after page. Words come in abundance when I sit in my reflective state. And when I am all at peace, especially one with the night, there is an outpouring of words tangled with feelings and emotions. Here my creativity takes over and I just start to write. Moreover, there is something in the tranquillity of night which makes me to write. In person, none have got to inspire me yet.

Please tell about your published work.
Well, The much of whatever I penned down till date has been published in my debut book. My debut translated work is going to get published soon in the book entitled with "Behind The Curtain". Also some of my work is published in two anthologies. I seldom write for the anthologies, e-magazines etc.

Which are your favorite books and why?
I am not into reading, seriously. And that's the foremost demerit of me being a writer. I haven't read even a single novel yet in my life. Reading helps us to hone our writing skills, I strongly concur with this because I once tried, just for a while though. It helped. I'll try to bring me on the right track soon.

As being a girl how would you justify condition of women in India?
The condition of women in India has been improved much more as that of before. They are being educated and fighting for their rights. India too is reciprocating women in every possible way. Though at some places their conditions are still miserable but I hope with the endeavours of India and the whims of time, women will be worshipped in India by heart and soul. Besides, I would like to say that those who take undue advantage of being a girl, deserve nowhere to stand in this world. Our existence belong to each other and both (Male and Female) of us should stay abreast.

Who you follow in your writing career? Who are your best authors?
I don't follow anyone in my writing career. I just follow my passion and my dream. As I just told you I haven't read anyone yet so I can't tell you who is my favourite author and who I aspire to be. As soon as I start reading, I hope I'll find the one whom my thoughts resemble to.

What are your expectations from the readers?
Readers are the denizens of writer's world of imagination. Yes! It's true that a writer just draw the contour, a reader fills it with colours. I just expect my readers to con my work not just to read.

Your future plans about writing step?
I am nowadays engaged with a project of translation. Besides, planning to write the next book which too will be a literature fiction but this time will try to write a full fledge novel instead of a compilation of stories and poetry. I'll present a different kind of stories to the readers this time being a poetic raconteur. But the sad part is that the project is going to take a long span of time.

Reviews On "Workout Your Soul"

Review Point: 3
Authoress: Sonia Singh
Publisher: Xlibris
Genre: Motivational
ISBN: 978-1-5035-6165-6
Edition: 2015
Page Count: 89

About The Book:
This book talks about the existence of God and his involvement in our life. Humans are being engaged in their own and committing wrong things by taking wrong path which leads to their loss. Discussing destiny of Karma, untamed ego, grudges, power of prayer and many other parts of humans’ life, this book is a way to way to positivity.

Strength Of The Book:
In this rapidly changing era when everybody is forgetting God is his good deeds, this book is dealing with the presence of that almighty. Authoress has beautifully revealed his presence in our daily life and discussed those wrong paths which we are prone to adapt. Few of good examples are also embedded here for proper narration and let readers be more close to the book. Few of effective dialogues from the book are:

The magnanimity of the negative outlook can diminish if only we first acknowledge it for only then can we deal with it.
If the heart has no warmth, what could you feel?
The biggest problem these days is that we cant understand the people not only around us but also the very one we live with.
Ego is like a beautiful, rich and colorful fruit devoid of any sweetness.
Our ego is like horse we need our horse to lead our carriage of life, but we need to tame our horse to drive the carriage carefully without any accident.
Wish someone happiness and success honestly and truly.
What you do when no one is watching you is who you actually are.

Weakness Of The Book:
Such type of motivational book must be in a genuine way of narration excluding I but it lacks this feature. Long sentence construction and mixture of American and British English leave negative impact. Additionally, in one of the chapters same paragraphs are repeated in mid and last which takes interest away.

Conclusion:
To know thyself with the presence of god, this book is good stuff. Authoress has discussed each factor of life to enlighten the heart and fill it with positivity and a hope, called God. This book motivates a lot and leads reader to a right path which ends at happiness and success.

Strength Of The Book:
Narration is done by first person for third person, lead character of the story. It is one of the unique ways to present a book. Lovely love story embedded this book is narrated beautifully about the struggle of a lady who is in the last days of her life. Dilemma of true love remains till end. Each thing is beautifully written very step by step to maintain a flow.

Weakness of the book:
Beginning of the book is really weak and is not able grab the attention of readers in starting chapters. Story surrounds with multiple characters together which create a confusion in readers’ mind. Platform is not that much strong. Book lacks literature. To aggrandize the narration Hindi songs are written which somehow leave negative impact. Ending could be more impressive.

An Interview With Author And Entrepreneur Ajitabha Bose

Tell something about you to let us know a bit deep.
I was born and brought up in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. I moved to Delhi in the year 2010 for my higher education. I am a mass communication graduate and in love with cooking in my free time. I have written numerous articles, blogs and stories. I owe a production house as well known as Bose Documentaries Ltd.

When did you come to know about your potential to write?
I have been a consistent blogger ever, since I joined my college. I reached a much higher level in the year 2013 when I published my first novella, It's A Love Story. Apart from this, my short stories, If Only in anthology LOVE - A Sweet Poison and Your's Forever in ZINDAGI - A Story Of Life got published this year by Author’s Ink India Publications. Further, I edited an anthology The Untold Love Stories. I am currently working on my next book "The Pocket Love Story". It is all set to release in August, 2015.

How you manage all the things related to your reel and real life?
My life is an open book. I write what I feel or have experienced in my own life. I believe that love is one of the most beautiful expressions and emotions that humans are blessed with thus I try to incorporate it in most of my works to feel justified by myself.

Tell the titles you have written for your readers and what response you got from?
It’s A love Story (March 2013)
If Only (December 2014)
Your's Forever (June 2015)
The Untold Love Stories (July 2015)
The Pocket Love Story (August 2015

All the above stories are published. I had received huge appreciation for my first story (It’s A love Story). It was very motivating and overwhelming. “The Untold Love stories” was liked by readers from all over India. It received good reviews from everywhere. The Pocket Love Story has already created a buzz among the readers and I hope it does equally well.

Would you like to discuss your work on your upcoming book?
The Pocket Love Story is short love story which will make you relive your college days. It revolves around the lives of Ramachandra and Tani, where Ramachandra falls in love with Tani but it isn’t the same with her. She doesn’t like him at all. Gradually they become friends and enjoy each other’s company. To know more read “The Pocket Love Story”. It is probably the smallest love story book in India. Limca Book Of Records and India Book of Records are yet to confirm this.

Who is your idol and who you follow?
I don’t have an idol as such but I love reading Ravinder Singh’s book. I like reading love stories and I guess he is best in the nation when it comes writing love stories. He has a very unique way to depict emotions and love in his writing. Apart from this, I also follow Agatha Christie, El James, Sudeep Nagarkar, Durjoy Dutta and Chetan Bhagat

Who are your favorite writers and which are your favorite books? And most specially why?
My favorite writers are Ravinder Singh and Sudeep Nagarkar. I have earlier mentioned, I prefer reading love stories. My favorite books are I Too had A love Story, Can love Happen Twice, It started With A Friend Request and 2 States. I Too had A love Story is my favorite among the list.

What’s your aim? Where do you see yourself after 5 years with your hard work at present?
Every author or a writer wants to come in the bestselling list, so do I. But honestly speaking I want my work to flourish! I have always been very bad in grammar and thus I am focusing on my writing these days. With the blessings of my parents, well-wishers and God, I may write an enormous story with some good English one day.

Any message to your readers?
You will find many grammatical errors in my stories. You won’t find good vocabulary in my writing. But, believe me; you won’t regret reading my stories. Thank you for everything you all have bestowed on me. Love you.

Reviews On Novel "Endless Life"

Review Point: 4.75 out of 5
Author: Surinder Deol
Publisher: Frog Books, Imprint of Leadstart Publishing Pvt. Ltd.
Genre: Fiction
ISBN: 978-93-52013-20-3
Edition: 2015
Page Count: 264

Platform:
Malti, who is child, lives with her Sona Dadi. Her parents have not much time to spend with her. As time passes, Sona Dadi leaves the world and Malti is compelled by her parents to get married. Finally she gets married with Rakesh, who is a surgeon and lives in America. She moves there and finds a new friend Deepti. Within couple of months, Rakesh leaves her alone and starts to live with his love Susan. Malti gives birth to a child Amit and spends rest of her life with him. Amit loves Zeena, an Indian girl and gets married with her without telling Malti. What compels Malti to come back in India while having a good set up in America? What tragedy Malti faces? How she meets Zeena? What happens when she meets her childhood lover Harish Malhorta after 32 years of separation? To know, go through the Endless Life.

Strength of the Book:
Book is a mind blowing journey of emotions. It is fabricated with many of social topics including woman and her existence in the world of alive corpse. Divided in three parts, this books touches each wave of joy to let the readers love the book page by page and word by word. Narration is really amazing. Each character is defined properly and given best justification. Story goes in the same flow till the end with perfect crisp of unique writing way and struggle of Malti and Amit. Love story between Amit and Zeena is truly different and admirable. Literature is also used to sew the chapters with the desire of readers. A fabulous ending is given to the story with a hosanna. Some words which I really loved are-

We cried together in the ecstasy of our pleasure.

When a woman says: ‘Don’t touch me’ it does not mean ‘Don’t touch me, ever.’ It means: ‘Be someone special for me so that your touch is meaningful.’ When a woman says that we are going to be friends but not lovers, it does not mean that love and friendship are mutually exclusive.
Life is an unending succession of new beginnings and fresh starts. No one point is either too early or too late.
Thinking is the enemy of love, Malti. When we think we weigh arguments for and against. Love has only one side. You love someone, or you don’t.

Weakness of the book:
Except some typos, I couldn’t find any error and weakness in the book.

Conclusion:
This book is really close to the life of a woman who survives in the worst and tackles each and every situation with determination. On the other hand, teenagers and youth will surely love the book with the mind blowing love story and the way of narration. Author Surinder Deol has touched the real breath of narration and literature to let booklovers have unforgettable book for their shelves. This story makes readers cry and holds their breath with pain of characters. Book touches real life problems which are present in India for years, like women empowerment, girl education, poverty and step to terrorism. Cover page of the novel could be more impressive but story perfectly fits to the title.

Porn, Maggi and Government (Part-1)

The pity thing I am seeing in Facebook is youth is damn worried after ban on porn website. Where are we going? Couple of days ago when we lost father of missile, people had sorrow in their heart. But overreaction on ban on porn is really disgusting. People are revealing their sorrow and saying that if they could strike on this matter to compel the government take the decision back. Everybody has dream in his/her eye but it is being ruined in the storm of adult part. Teenage is the main factor which decide where will you go in future and that time has been covered by porn sites. If we see our government’s act that is really shameful that they disclosed publically 857 names of porn websites.
Now when they have taken their action back people specially teens are served with new 857 breads of sex and erotica. Is this the right way to control the direction of our youth? If government is really interested in child education, it must free the internet for some specific websites truly dedicated towards education. If you ban porn, why don’t you think about the work of those professionals who put their effort day and night to make a website popular. Multiple companies in India are there which are indulged in the SEO and other promotional work of these porn sites. They faced damn lose with the decision of government. May be some were expelled too due to heavy loose on projects. Government takes decision without thinking pros and cons of any factor.

If we take another example of Maggi ban,
there are million people in India who once just survived on Maggi. It has made its place in Indian kitchen for more than 20 years. Did anyone complain that Maggi has an issue? Where was that food committee for such long time which found glutamate in Maggi Masala now. Government is damn slow, they just banned Maggi without getting even a single case of patient being suffered after consuming this delicious thing. Just after this incidence, Rudrapur plant of Nestle company expelled some 1200 employees due to ban on production. Is government ready to give them job now? Obviously no and why should they care when they are getting appreciation for their doing? The sobbing of those 1200 employees got suppressed by the achievement of government. Government didn’t pay even a single penny to those companies who lost their project. I really don’t know why government does this?

India has lot of hackers and professionals in IT world who won’t take a single minute to bring out the solution for porn websites so what was the need to take this step?

Reviews On "The World Is In Me"

Review Point: 3 out of 5
Author: Sheeraz Khan
Publisher: Frog Books, Imprint of Leadstart Publishing Pvt. Ltd.
Genre: Fiction/Fantasy
ISBN: 978-93-52013-25-8
Edition: First, 2015
Page Count: 194

Platform:
Oez, with his friend Leung and Tushal lives and studies in orphanage. He has lost his parents at the age of two. Here in orphanage he has one special person Arjun who is a Kaleri fighter. One days Oez comes to know about the 2D view of Arjun and asks him to describe. But a moment enters and soon Oez comes to know that there is one more world. Gradually, Arjun tell him each thing and takes in the new world Vajish with the permission of EVA(Earth Vajish Association). Oez gets two more friend Dhanush and Arsila who tell him that he is the prince of Vajish and sent to earth by his parents to save him and for the welfare of their empire. What compelled Oez parents to send him on the earth? What was the fear for the people of Vajish? Who is Ahad and Ubaid and why Ubaid treats Oez rudely? How Oez saves his new world? To know the answer you must read this fantasy story “The World Is In Me”.

Strength of the Book:
Good fantasy platform is knitted for the book. The most important thing of the book which attracts readers is the way of communication between the real world and fantasy world. EVA concept is really unique and embedded with story very well. Characters are justified well and fabricated in proper way to keep users away from confusion. Situations as well as dialogues are described in good way and seem too much real. Each character is given equal importance for the narration. No balderdash is created throughout the book.

Weakness Of The Book:
With bit of grammatical errors, this book is not able to tie readers in amazing way. Story is quite simple and narration is little weak too. After couple of chapters, book loses interesting moments and narration goes down. In the middle time, book makes readers bore.

Conclusion:
Those who are fed of love and other rubbish stories can take a dive in this different kind of fantasy story based book. Cover page and the title beautifully support the story. The way of doing end of the book is really admirable. Author Sheeraz Khan has much potential to present things which are out of the box in much better way. This book will be loved by fantasy lovers and fans of J.K. Rowling(authoress of Harry Potter Series).
